The heat had caused a rust out on the center tube, so I reinforced it with some 3/8 channel

After 3 cuts, I got it the right size, 6 inches high from the bottom of the tank and 8 inches below where the grate will be. then check for level

Next, I see if the tank is level to the trailer. This is not important, but I was currious. Notice the tires. A tire guy gave me these tires for $20 mounted and balanced. They were new, but 4 years old and illegal to sell for a vehicle.
